Process Optimization
Insurance Reporting Revamp
Streamline the insurance update process and reduce manual effort
SQL
Apps Script

Context
Every month, the company performs a portfolio valuation to update the insured systems report.
The process was entirely manual and lacked validation mechanisms to prevent errors—resulting in rework, review cycles, and extensive audits.
Action
I redesigned the update workflow into a semi-automated, structured process, including:
A SQL query to extract the systems to be insured
An automated assignment module built in Apps Script to separate systems by portfolio within the report
Advanced formatting logic configured in Google Sheets
Data inconsistency alerts to flag potential issues
Result
Delivery time was reduced by over 85%, boosting team efficiency and coordination with the broker.
The new system brought consistency, visibility, and scalability to the insurance process.
